A Scout is thrifty.
Cub Scouts sell Camp Cards to help pay their own way to summer camp. Cards sell for $10, and scouts earn $5 in credit for every Camp Card sold.
This year, cards have two components:
1. A physical card specific to the DFW area.
Dick’s Sporting Goods, Barnes & Noble, Chuck E Cheese, Costa Vita, Sherman Williams, SpeeDee Oil Change, Billy Bob’s, Dinosaur World, Cowtown Bar-B-Que, No Frills Grill, Shipley Donuts, and Texas Rangers.
2. A mobile/web app containing thousands of coupons for entertainment venues and retailers across the country.
The physical card contains an activation code for the “SaversGuide” app, which will allow you to browse coupons across the country, or enable location services and let the app notify you when you go somewhere that has a coupon available.
Both physical and virtual coupons range in value from $ off to % off and are one-time-use. If you buy two Camp Cards, it will double the number of “uses” for both physical and virtual coupons.
