Why should my scout sell camp cards? Selling cards is a great learning opportunity for scouts. In addition, sales can earn scouts the opportunity to attend Summer camp for free. Cards are a great value for customers too. Using just a few of the discounts offered can more than pay for the cost of the card ($10).
How should my scout sell camp cards? Selling to friends, family, and familiar neighbors are just some of the ways to sell. We have also setup several opportunities for scouts to sell camp cards in front of Tom Thumb or Albertsons at “show & sells”. We find that scouts find the most success at show & sells. We can supply some useful supplies. Scouts just show up in their uniform and be ready tell people about camp cards.
How can my scout signup for show & sells? Go to bit.ly/378_campcards to register.
How many cards does my scout need to sell to attend Summer Camp for free? To attend the Cross Timbers District Twilight camp, it only takes about $20 cards.
