The dedicated leadership of Pack 378 has worked hard to schedule in advance as much of the events and meetings as possible for the scouting year (September 2017-August 2018). A convenient year-at-a-glance calendar is printed and available at each Pack meeting on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7 pm. In addition, the most recent version can be found on the Pack 378 Resource Page. You can also view and subscribe to the Pack 378 calendar by visiting our Calendar Page. Finally, members of Pack 378 and their families can access the calendar via the Pack’s tracking software (Scoutbook). Family members with activated connections in Scoutbook will receive email communications, reminders, and updates via email.
Sunday, September 10 at 3:00 pm, we are holding the Rain Gutter Regatta at New World Methodist Church (2201 N. Davis Dr., Arlington, TX 76012) parking lot . To compete all you have to do is bring a boat built from the ‘Standard Boat Kit’ (catamaran style) from the scout shop and use everything in the kit. Some hobby shops also carry kits. Just be sure it is Boy Scouts of America (BSA) certified.
We will have an open division for non standard boat kits or siblings under the age of 12 or boats that everything was not used in the standard kit. We will also have an open division for anyone over the age of 12.
Scouts should wear swimsuits, pack t-shirt and shoes that can get wet.
